Our Arcade Machines

We have a variety of arcade machines for families and individuals located around the building including; air hockey, basketball, punch / kick machines, jackpot machines, shooters, racers, hurricane simulator, whack a mole, teddy grabbers and pinball.

Basketball

For those who enjoy a little competition, we have basketball machines that test your shooting skills. Punch and Kick

Experience the Thrill: Monthly Snooker Competition at Halifax Snooker Club

Attention all snooker enthusiasts! We are thrilled to announce the launch of our regular monthly snooker competition happening at Halifax Snooker Club. Get ready to showcase your skills, compete with fellow players, and potentially claim the title of champion. Notably, this exciting event will take place on the last Sunday of every month, providing you with ample opportunities to test your abilities and enjoy some friendly competition.

Competition Details:

Dates:

• August 25th, 10:30 Am start
• September 29th, 10:30 AM start

Mark your calendars and make sure to arrive on time! All in all, players must be registered by 10:15 AM to participate. We will conduct the draw for the matches promptly to ensure a smooth start to the competition.

Entry Fee:

• £10 per player
• £6.50 registration fee per player to cover the cost of table lights for the entire competition

As a rule, all entry fees will contribute to the cash prizes for the winner and runner-up. So, not only do you get a chance to showcase your snooker skills, but you also have the opportunity to win some fantastic cash prizes!

Format:

• If there are more than 16 entries, we will play all matches in a best-of-three format.
• The final will be best of five matches.
• If there are fewer than 16 entries, all matches will be best of five throughout.

Handicap System:

We operate on a handicap system to ensure fair and competitive matches for players of all skill levels. Handicaps range from -24 to +16, in particular, ensuring that no player will give or receive more than a 40-point start on each frame. In conclusion, this system adds an exciting element to the competition, allowing players of varying abilities to compete on equal footing.

*The handicap system can be adjusted for any player at anytime during the competition. Handicaps can go up or down the threshhold depending on competition results. Any semi-pro or really good amateur can go below the -24 cap. Professional players will be off -70.

Additional Prizes:

• Generally speaking, losing semi-finalists will receive vouchers for FREE TABLE TIME.
• We will hold a plate competition for first-round losers, awarding vouchers to the winner.

Trophy and Recognition:
The ultimate glory awaits the winner, who will receive a prestigious trophy as a symbol of their victory.
