We’ve hidden 9 mysterious images around the downstairs bowling area — but these aren’t just any ghosts… they’re our very own staff, transformed into creepy, funny, and sometimes downright terrifying versions of themselves!

Your mission: find all 9 haunted staff members and match them with their names to win a prize. Whether you’re a brave little ghost hunter or a cautious explorer, this eerie adventure is sure to keep you entertained between strikes and spares.

The dart board is designed to accommodate multiple players at once, making it perfect for a group outing. In general the atmosphere is lively and energetic, with players and spectators cheering on their favourite teams. Playing darts with friends or family members is a great way to bond and have fun together. THE SETUP

Our slick, touch-screen unit makes operating the SMARTS system easy! Input player names and snap a selfie before choosing which of our great games to play!

We’ve partnered with Unicorn® so you can be certain you’re throwing at the very best!
Using revolutionary Smartboard technology, the SMARTS system automatically detects where your darts have landed and instantly displays the result on the scoreboard.

Furthermore, the screen above the dart board will guide you through your chosen game and display all the scores.
To summarize, everything is laid out to make the games super simple. The screen tells you whose turn it is to throw and what to aim for.

Halifax Snooker has the best regular dart board in town.

Halifax Snooker Club has got the best dart board in town. The area is large and fully enclosed with seating and a table for drinks. We have a raised oche approx. 2m wide and there is an electronic scoreboard to side. Furthermore there is also a direct phone linked to bar to purchase food and drink orders, so you dont even have to leave the board. There is a small charge (coin-op) for the lights, £1 for 30 minutes, or 20p for 5mins.

Looking for a fun outing for your group? Our bowling alley can accommodate parties of 6 to 60+ people. Choose from a variety of bowling packages, including bowling only, or add on food and drinks. Prices start at just £12.95 per person for a 2 game package.

Bowl ‘n’ Bite: Enjoy 2 games of bowling with a delicious meal served to your lane(s) for only £18.95 per person for adults, and £13.95 for juniors. ( Please note that junior meals are suitable for children 12 and under. To upgrade any junior meals to an adult one will be an additional £3 per meal upgraded ).

Bowl ‘n’ Beverage: Get 2 games of bowling plus 2 drinks per player for £19.95 per person.

Bowl, Bite ‘n’ Berverage: Treat your group to 2 games of bowling, a meal, and 2 drinks per person for just £25.95 per adult, and £18.95 per junior.

The Works’: Treat your group to 2 games of bowling, a meal, and 2 drinks per person for just £29.95 per person. Each person will also get a glass of Prosecco upon arrival.

Welcome to Halifax’s new junior snooker academy.

Halifax Snooker Club is proud to announce the launch of its Junior Academy! Designed for young snooker enthusiasts aged 16 and under, the academy offers a unique opportunity to learn and improve your skills in a fun and supportive environment. All junior participants must be members of the club. Membership is still only £6 for a full year, and each weekly session is only £5 per person.

Every Thursday, from 6.30pm until 8.30pm, the Halifax Snooker Club Junior Academy will be open for sessions. During these sessions, children will have the chance to work with Lionel, our fully qualified and DBS checked coach, who will guide them through the basics of snooker. Lionel’s passion for the game, combined with his expertise and experience, makes him the perfect person to help children develop their skills and reach their full potential.

The sessions will cover the following fundamental techniques of snooker:

• Cueing: The correct technique for holding and striking the cue ball. Lionel will help the young players to develop a smooth and accurate stroke, ensuring that they are able to control the cue ball with precision.
• Aiming: The art of lining up shots and determining the desired path of the cue ball. Lionel will guide the players through the various aiming systems and help them to develop a solid understanding of shot direction and distance control.
• Potting: The process of sinking the balls into the pockets. Lionel will cover the different types of potting shots, including straightforward pots, cut shots, and combinations, and help the players to develop their potting accuracy.
• Safety play: The strategy of avoiding leaving your opponent with an easy shot. Lionel will introduce the young players to the concept of safety play and help them to understand when and how to play safe shots effectively.

Lionel will also use fun and engaging drills and exercises to help the players develop their skills, and will provide constructive feedback to help them understand what they need to work on. With a focus on helping the young players to develop their love for the sport, the Halifax Snooker Club Junior Academy is the perfect place for under 16’s to learn and improve their game.

In addition to the weekly sessions, the Halifax Snooker Club Junior Academy will also hold occasional competitions. These will provide a fun and friendly environment for the young players to showcase their skills and compete against their peers. The competitions will be a great opportunity to meet new friends and develop a love for the sport.
